Materials
Black pickled steel DD11, MIG welded in continuous. SA 2.5 grade sandblasting treatments and Cerabond 2000 primer painting are carried out, which grant long term corrosion protection. Both treatments are certified.
Steel thickness:
3,0 mm with bigger side up to 300 mm
4,0 mm with bigger side from 301 up to 600 mm
5,0 mm with bigger side greater than 600 mm
Flanges supplied as standard 30 mm on both sides.
Baffles’ frame in galvanized steel Z275 or AISI 316L, thikness 0,8 mm.
Rock wool sound-proofing material panel, certified for naval use. High density panels (60 kg / m3) and in fire reaction class “0” (non-combustible) (DM. 26/06/1984).
Standard baffles coating in coupled glass fleece abrasion resistant and micro-stretched sheet metal (up to a maximum crossing speed of 12 m / s).
Installation
It can be installed in any position.
It can be used in plants located in marine environment such as ships and platforms.
Use condition
Maximum operating temperature: 250 °C.
Maximum operating pressure: 5.000 Pa.

SIMA silencers are absoption silencers with 100, 150 or 200 mm baffles. They represent the best solution both for abatement ratio and costs. They are intended to reduce the noise that propagates through the ventilation ducts. Noise reduction, which passes through the distribution network, implyes the decrease of the sound pressure level that goes to the terminal units and then spread in the treated environment.
